The competition consisted of 20 teams (each architectural firm was paired with an interiors rep). Each team was assigned an interior finish material in which they had to use to construct their ensemble.  The teams choose a decade to represent, and a model from their firm.  Our team was assigned plastic laminate and teamed with Wilsonart, who supplied the materials.  Even the earrings and bangles are made of plastic laminate! We worked with our rep to heat the solid surface plastic laminate and bend it into a bangle. The cloak is made of unmounted plastic laminate similar to paper. Sarah Boedeker was our model who pulled off our sixties-themed outfit with some sassiness and style.
